I’m no stranger to protein powders, drinks, and supplements, but this is my first time trying a product like this. What attracted me the most was the relatively decent amount of protein at 20 grams per serving along with the low calorie and low sugar content. The pouches are very convenient to take with me when I’m out and about, and they have become a nice portable option for me. All I have to do is add water, shake well, and then they’re ready to use. This particular Brown 17 Grains flavor is enjoyable enough to me. It's creamy and slightly sweet, and the little textured crispy bits are a nice contrast. I’d be interested in trying other flavors from this brand. I’ve been on a diet and exercise routine since mid January, and this kind of product provides what I’m looking for as far as protein intake and calories. Honestly, the only downside in my opinion is that these are quite an investment for just seven pouches. I’m enjoying using them, all the same, and I appreciate how travel-friendly they are.
The taste is great, but I was expecting a stronger black sesame aroma, which unfortunately wasn’t there. The protein powder isn’t black, so it’s clear that the amount of black sesame powder is very small.
These protein pouches are pretty good!! The only downside for me was the lack of clear instructions in English. It took a minute to figure out what to do. Once I realized, I simply filled the pouch with water to the little water icon on the back, put the cap back on, gave it a shake, then drank it. Super easy.Flavor-wise, they taste a lot like cereal milk. The strawberry is really good, and the crisp rice pieces plus the tiny freeze-dried strawberry bits make it taste like you’re drinking the leftover milk from a bowl of cereal. Just a heads-up, the cereal pieces can get soggy if the mix sits too long after adding the water. My advice, drink it as soon as you can.Convenience-wise, the ready-to-mix pouch is perfect for on-the-go days. I’m trying to stay on track with my protein goals, and each pouch has 19g of protein, which isn’t too shaby. You also get 4g of fiber, 3g of total sugar, and only 150 calories.I genuinely enjoyed these. They are a bit pricey considering you only get seven pouches per bag, but they make a great, tasty, protein-packed treat a couple of times a week.
I lovee the black sesame flavor it’s so rich and nutty it has crunchies that gives really good texture as well. When i’m on a diet my biggest struggle is my sugar craving and i would be snacking a lot I’m surprised how good it tastes and it only has 160 calories it also keeps you full for a good amount and the packaging is so convenient i always just put it in my bag and it’s just a really easy, yummy, and healthy snack i’m so glad i got this protein shack and i’d love to try other flavors and definitely order again
I love this protein shake! It has an exact hot chocolate flavor, can't even notice that this is a protein shake that I'm having. One thing I hate about protein shakes is their bad aftertaste, but this product was totally free of it which I really liked! It goes good with both water and milk, and you can adjust thickness and sweetness by adding or having less water/milk. This can also be used as a meal replacement shake, as it provides a sense of fullness for a considerable amount of time. Another thing I liked about this was that it has crunchy balls, which I can chew and feel more like eating rather than simply drinking, and this adds to its fullness. Overall it is worth to get and I'd definitely recommend it!
Even though this is labeled as a meal replacement, I’ve been using it as a post-workout shake instead of my usual protein powder, and honestly, it’s been a nice change. It tastes a lot better than the last protein powder I bought and still delivers nearly the same amount of protein per serving. The strawberry flavor is strong and pleasant, and the smell really stands out in a good way. The 'crunchy protein balls' are a fun touch. They add a little texture that makes it more enjoyable to drink compared to the typical smooth protein shake. It’s also pretty filling, enough to hold me over for a few hours if I have it between meals. The biggest downside is the price. For what you get, it’s not the best value if you’re using it purely as a protein supplement. But if you actually treat it as a meal replacement, it’s easier to justify. Overall, it’s a tasty and satisfying option that’s just a bit on the expensive side.
Step one: take a spoon and fish around in the container to find your scoop.I’ve tried a lot of protein powders over the years, and this is the first strawberry one I’ve actually really liked. It tastes more like a strawberry milkshake than your typical chalky protein drink. I really the little crunchy protein balls and bits of strawberry. I am fan of odd textures in my drink, like coconut water with jiggly bits, or boba. It’s made with erythritol, so you can taste just a slight low/no sugar-free note, but it’s minor. There aren’t any English instructions for mixing, but I used milk and way less than the 45g serving, and it tasted great. Not too sweet and mixed easily with just a whisk. I think each person is just going to have to figure out whether they like milk, a milk alternative, or water, and how much powder to use to suit their sweetness preference.
This protein shake powder is really good. It tastes good enough that you wouldn't mind drinking this daily. Each serving of protein shake contains 19g of protein. This dissolves well when you put it in a shaker cup with a whisk ball. The consistency is smooth and isn't gritty. I like that this doesn't have the aftertaste that can be off-putting- this is solid. This is a versatile protein powder you could use with various types of milks or even adding to a smoothie. Used at the suggested serving size, this provides about 14 servings of protein.
Just opening it, I’m hit with a strawberry smell which smells delicious. Always been a fan of strawberry flavored protein powder so I obviously loved this. At just 19g protein, it is on the lesser side than your name-brand workout protein powders. I guess you can double scoop it but that just means you’ll go through this container in less than a week or so. I personally use it on lighter workout days. The way I used it is in my fruit smoothie, 1 scoop and it made my smoothie creamier and tasting like strawberry, I obviously don’t notice the crunchy bits because they get blended in but I tasted them on their own and they taste like plain oat cereal bits with a light strawberry flavoring. Overall, made me feel fuller and the protein helped me during my workout and workout recovery. It is pricey for about 1.4 pounds though.
I’ve been looking for a good protein alternative for a long time, but the high price always held me back.Thankfully, I was able to get this at a great deal during Prime Day—and I’m so glad I did!The taste is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend trying it if you're looking for a delicious and satisfying protein option.
I drink a lot of different Asian drinks and tons of American protein shakes, so this was something I have been curious to try. You can tell from their advertising they are pushing it heavily towards an Asian market and it's a Korean product.I didn't really know exactly how to drink it so I tried a few things. One was to mix milk into the pouches and this worked out "OK". It kinda mixed decently but I felt like I left a lot in the pouch that I couldn't get out. It did come out creamy which was nice. I tried it with water as well but it was definitely not as good as with milk. The little crunchies in it are quite fun and different than typical protein shakes. Then I tried using it like a protein shake and dumped the powder into a nutribullet and blended it up with milk. This removed most of the little crunchies unfortunately but it made them more like the little cookie pieces you'll sometimes get in higher quality snickerdoodle or cookies and creme protein shakes - which was still nice. I like that added texture. This was the most successful method overall as I felt like I could drink more of the product and I could get the ratios better and it blended better.Overall, a slightly sweet taste. It definitely reminded me of milk-teas - but also grainy a bit too. I did like it. A bit like a blended protein shake cereal mixture thing. The first time I did it my stomach was a bit unhappy after - but that didn't happen again so must have been a fluke.I think the flavoring should be tweaked a bit more for the US market - a bit more sweetness and flavoring, not tons but a bit. Maybe a bit more creaminess added to it so you can mix it with water too?
I was on a plant-based diet for a long time and used to supplement my protein needs with protein powders. Pea protein tended to be gritty while the whey was harder on the kidneys. This one differs in that it’s a soy-based protein with loads of plant products in the mix. There are a full 20 grams of protein per serving, a little under half of what I like to get. I added some of this powder to my yogurt and it mixed quite well.I didn’t add a full scoop, which provides a full protein infusion, but rather eyed it. I don’t do smoothies so can’t say if this will mix well but I suspect it probably will do just fine. The taste was quite interesting, but we’re not looking at a candy bar here. I think next time instead of using a plain yogurt, I’ll use a flavored one for added taste. When I opened up, the soy protein powder there was no clumping. It can be stored in the canister or transferred to Mason-style jars, if preferred. I have no preference here. An interesting soy protein powder, a new one on me. Very good amount of protein per serving and the price seems reasonable enough.
This sesame protein/meal replacement shakes are a quick and easy way to meet protein goals and curb hunger. They are easy to prepare, I just add cold water (or almond milk) and shake it well and it’s ready to drink right out of the bag within seconds. They are easy to store and pack to go so are a great work meal option. They taste natural and delicious, subtly sweet with plenty of crunchy sesame pieces.
