This is interesting stuff, you mix it right in the package, it dissolves pretty well but has like some protein chunks that float,on top so it’s a liquid, crunchy kind of texture great peanut butter flavor but a little too sweet for me. Awesome protein amount per serving, soy and whey protein and it’s a good amount per serving. Was great to give this a try and I would probably order it again, but it’s sweetened with erihtritol which always tastes strange to me.
These Flimeal Peanut Butter Protein Shakes were such a delight to try! I am so happy to have ordered these! These Peanut Butter Protein Shakes are super portable and convenient! Each pouch comes with protein powder inside of it, and then you can add water to certain line- whether you want a thicker or thinner consistency shake. These are fun to prepare and because they're simply a pouch with protein powder, they're easy to throw in a purse or gym bag for an easy snack or meal. I love the energy these give me when I am running low, and I love how they help me feel satiated after eating them and I can hold on until my next meal. These have a great texture to them and are a really great tasting peanut butter protein shake. The peanut butter isn't overwhelming- it just has a pleasant, sweet, and delicious flavor! These are a great value for your money considering you receive 7 shakes that contain a lot of protein- a great meal substitute! Each shake contains 23g of protein. They're low sugar and also keto-friendly! I'd definitely recommend these as a great meal substitute.
I have been lucky enough to try a few varieties of these Korean pouch protein drinks and this one is definitely one of my favorites. The peanut butter flavor is good and it's not too sweet, but still sweet enough to be a treat more than a snack or something savory. I also like that there's not too many chunks inside ... I've had some others that were basically cereal in a pouch which means it always a soggy mess. This was pretty good and still had some crunchy bits. The size is nice and easy to carry around and I love the protein content. These have become my go-to for an afternoon snack at work, I just being in a bunch of them, add water to one per day, and I'm good to go. I also like them for hikes because they're very light weight and then you just add water when you make camp (bring a water filter or boil it first! But cool before adding to the pouch of course!)
In short, this is one of the better-tasting protein shakes I have tried, and also a better quality one, according to the Korean independent rating based on its ingredients. While I do not usually enjoy drinking protein shakes, this is one of the few brands that I have been keeping in stock so that I can have something on hand after an evening workout, especially since I try not to eat within at least 5 hours of going to sleep. So, I was quite happy to see this one show up on my recommended page from the program because the peanut butter flavor is probably the last one I would have chosen for myself by paying the full price. Do not get me wrong, I love peanut butter itself, just usually not peanut butter-flavored food items because the taste often feels a bit off to me. As you can see, black sesame is the one I have liked the most and ordered multiple times, and I also liked the Brown 17 Grains Protein Shake. This peanut butter one, however, tasted sweeter as expected (close to brown 17 grains flavor), even with similar or lower sugar content compared to those two. The version that comes in a large jar, I like to sprinkle over my plain Greek yogurt to add a bit more flavor (shown in my photo). For the pouch version, I usually shake it up with cold almond milk for about 10 to 15 seconds, drink it, and then add a little more almond milk afterward to get the last bit of powder out haha.I think these taste much better than many other protein shakes I have tried because they do not leave that strong artificial aftertaste that I often notice from other brands. I really do think the ones from Korea suit my taste better.I would definitely buy more of these, though probably not the peanut butter flavor, and instead stick to my usual black sesame or Brown 17 Grains version. I also like matcha in general, but I have not tried the matcha one from this brand because I already have a favorite matcha protein shake from another brand haha.By the way, my brother looooved this peanut butter flavored one, and I am pretty sure he is going to order it soon because he already helped himself to the rest of the pack after not sealing it properly lol.Again, if you want something tasty, not too sugary, easy to carry around, and convenient to drink without making an extra bottle dirty, this is definitely a great option. For the price, I would absolutely order more when I need it ( for its flavor and ingredient quality.)
This is a review for the Flimeal Protein Shakes. These are the peanut butter flavor! You’re getting a total of 7 shakes. Each shake is about 24g of protein, 160 calories, and 1g of sugar! That’s actually a crazy low amount of sugar, I love that! These shakes are awesome. I have to admit, the convenience of the single serve pouch really calls to me. I can take this shake anywhere! All I have to do is add water and shake. Simple. This flavor is nice. It’s unmistakably peanut butter. It also has little protein balls in the shake to add texture and it makes it feel more like a meal. Personally, I’ll let the shake sit for about ten minutes after adding the water because I like the crunch of the balls to be a little less crunchy. These don’t get soggy either, I’ve let them sit for a good while and they’re fine when I get back to the shake. The value is, I mean, these aren’t cheap. How affordable they are and how much value they hold is going to vary. For me, I’d drink them every single day if they weren’t as expensive. Now I can only drink them occasionally. They’re fun and they taste great, the ingredients are fantastic, and I do feel much better after drinking these shakes than I do with a lot of other brands.Highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique to add some fun into your daily protein routine!
This peanut butter protein shake taste really good, either with water or milk.Calories is rather low for sweet and rich it tastes, but don't forget to add up the milk calories if you're not using water.Downside is that I had to Google translate the back side of the bag in order to understand what and how much liquid is needed to add. It is different for water or milk and consistency. While translating I found a few discrepancies between the Korean label and the English one.Not big but still shouldn't be.
I liked how easy this was to make. Just mix with water or milk and it turns into a smooth drink with a nice peanut butter flavor. It is not too sweet, which I prefer, and it feels pretty balanced. The little crunchy protein balls are a fun touch. They add texture so it does not feel like a plain shake. It actually kept me full for a few hours, so it works well as a quick meal or snack.I also like that it is low in sugar and still has a good amount of protein. The packets are convenient for on the go, especially when I do not have time to prepare something. Good valueOnly small downside is the portion feels a bit light if you are really hungry, so I sometimes pair it with something else. Overall, a solid option for a quick and satisfying protein drink.
These are genuinely one of the more unique protein shakes I’ve tried. Each serving comes as a dry packet that you just add liquid to—super convenient. I mostly used water with a splash of milk, shook it up right in the packet, and it worked perfectly.Taste-wise, I was honestly impressed. It’s really good—like, not “good for a protein shake,” just actually good. No weird artificial protein aftertaste, and it’s sweet without tasting fake. The standout feature is the crunchy bits inside—kind of like tiny granola or cereal pieces—which makes it way more interesting and satisfying than a typical smooth shake.Nutritionally, it’s solid too: over 20g of protein for around 170 calories, which makes it a great quick meal or snack. The downside is the cost. These are expensive—each packet feels more like buying a fancy coffee than a typical protein shake. So while they’re convenient and delicious, they may not be something you’d want to use daily.Overall, a really tasty, portable option if you’re willing to pay for the convenience and upgraded texture.
I enjoyed this as a nightcap tonight since I’m not particularly trying to lose weight. It’s a bit of a sweet treat that’s generally high in protein and pretty lean in calories too. It’s supposed to be a meal replacement shake, and all you do is add liquid to the marked fill line on the back, shake, and drink. I found it pretty fast to prep and quite rich and filling, almost like a “dessert drink.”As a heads up: the reason this only has 1g of sugar is because it uses a combination of modified stevia and erythritol as sweeteners. Additionally, these do contain soy, milk, wheat, nuts, and sesame as some of the allergen ingredients. So you’ll want to make sure you’re comfortable with these before buying.Anyway, pretty great tasting. Value-wise, at $36 for 7, I would put it closer to a bit of a luxury. It’s definitely expensive, but as a South Korean import, and in addition to being like a protein shake, perhaps it’s of reasonable value.
These protein pouches are pretty good!! The only downside for me was the lack of clear instructions in English. It took a minute to figure out what to do. Once I realized, I simply filled the pouch with water to the little water icon on the back, put the cap back on, gave it a shake, then drank it. Super easy.Flavor-wise, they taste a lot like cereal milk. The strawberry is really good, and the crisp rice pieces plus the tiny freeze-dried strawberry bits make it taste like you’re drinking the leftover milk from a bowl of cereal. Just a heads-up, the cereal pieces can get soggy if the mix sits too long after adding the water. My advice, drink it as soon as you can.Convenience-wise, the ready-to-mix pouch is perfect for on-the-go days. I’m trying to stay on track with my protein goals, and each pouch has 19g of protein, which isn’t too shaby. You also get 4g of fiber, 3g of total sugar, and only 150 calories.I genuinely enjoyed these. They are a bit pricey considering you only get seven pouches per bag, but they make a great, tasty, protein-packed treat a couple of times a week.
I love this protein shake! It has an exact hot chocolate flavor, can't even notice that this is a protein shake that I'm having. One thing I hate about protein shakes is their bad aftertaste, but this product was totally free of it which I really liked! It goes good with both water and milk, and you can adjust thickness and sweetness by adding or having less water/milk. This can also be used as a meal replacement shake, as it provides a sense of fullness for a considerable amount of time. Another thing I liked about this was that it has crunchy balls, which I can chew and feel more like eating rather than simply drinking, and this adds to its fullness. Overall it is worth to get and I'd definitely recommend it!
I was genuinely surprised by how delicious this protein shake is, especially considering how healthy the ingredients are. I’m currently trying to cut down on sugar and lose weight, and this is one of the only shakes I’ve tried that doesn’t trigger cravings or have that weird artificial “fake sweet” taste that so many other “no sugar added” shakes still have. It tastes rich and satisfying, and the little crunchy protein balls inside make it even more enjoyable. It keeps me full, completely satisfies my sweet tooth, and actually helps me stay on track. The packaging is also extremely convenient as the powder is already inside, you just need to pour liquid and shake!! The water line on the pouch makes it so easy to get the perfect mix too :) I personally love it with water because the flavor is already amazing, but a couple of my friends prefer it with milk. It’s super popular in Korea, so I finally tried it for myself, and the shipping was surprisingly fast. Highly recommend for anyone who struggles with sugar cravings or wants a healthy treat that actually tastes good!
Even though this is labeled as a meal replacement, I’ve been using it as a post-workout shake instead of my usual protein powder, and honestly, it’s been a nice change. It tastes a lot better than the last protein powder I bought and still delivers nearly the same amount of protein per serving. The strawberry flavor is strong and pleasant, and the smell really stands out in a good way. The 'crunchy protein balls' are a fun touch. They add a little texture that makes it more enjoyable to drink compared to the typical smooth protein shake. It’s also pretty filling, enough to hold me over for a few hours if I have it between meals. The biggest downside is the price. For what you get, it’s not the best value if you’re using it purely as a protein supplement. But if you actually treat it as a meal replacement, it’s easier to justify. Overall, it’s a tasty and satisfying option that’s just a bit on the expensive side.
