I love the taste of this; it tastes exactly like milk tea. I made mine using milk instead of water so I would have a creamier consistency. It mixes okay; however, it doesn't seem to mix fully and has a slight gritty texture to it. I personally don't mind it too much. I also don't know if I got this texture from using milk instead of water too. I just used a shaker bottle for it too, since I don't have a blender.Overall, it tastes yummy and has a nice 20g of protein. I like that it's not completely loaded with sugar but has a nice amount to make it taste a little sweet. I love the little crunchies in it, but be warned if you leave it too long, they can become more soggy than crunchy. I think this is a nice value and has a great flavor.
I tried the "Flimeal Milk Tea" flavor and actually liked it a lot. There's a subtle tea flavor, but otherwise it's milky with chunks in it like if you were to drink a bowl of cereal. The packages themselves are really easy to carry like for a work snack or on a hike, and then you just add water and boom you have a low calorie, high protein meal replacement. Use a translator app to read the nutritional info!At time of review it was $35+ for 7 servings which isn't bad value, but definitely more than just buying protein powder or an alternative meal replacement..this adds some fun variety though!
This protein shake is a nice blend of flavour and nutrition. The milk tea taste is smooth and authentic, not overly sweet or chalky like some other protein powders. It truly tastes like a real milk tea drink but with the added bonus of 20g of protein per serving. The crunchy protein balls are a fun touch. They give the shake a little texture and make it feel like a treat instead of a typical protein drink. I also like that it is low in sugar and keto-friendly, so it fits right into my healthy eating goals. It mixes well with both water and milk (I prefer unsweetened almond milk for extra creaminess), and it keeps me full for hours. It makes it great as a meal replacement or post-workout shake. The 14 servings size makes it a good value, especially compared to getting milk teas from the store. The container keeps it fresh between uses and the included scoop is convenient. Worthy trying if you like milk tea and want a protein boost.
Really love all the flimeal series. The crunchiness is really the kick and the convenience of the pouch is a ++
This protein shake is incredibly easy to prepare and fits seamlessly into a busy routine. The single‑serving pouches are especially convenient since they take the guesswork out of portioning and make it simple to enjoy on the go. Everything mixes smoothly and quickly, which makes the whole experience feel effortless. The only drawback is the price. For the amount you receive, it sits on the higher end, especially compared to similar options. That said, the convenience and quality do help justify it if you value quick preparation and tidy, travel‑friendly packaging.Overall, this is a great choice if you want something simple, portable, and reliably easy to make.
For starters, I am lactose intolerant so usually I hate protein shakes. Beyond that, the taste is usually disgusting.A friend from Korea recommended that I try this specifically the milk tea one because it's the best flavor. I just got it today and I'm absolutely hooked! It tastes exactly like boba tea! It's so delicious. There's a little cereal pieces so it does feel like you're crunching on stuff.I'm not sure how full it makes me. So far it's been three hours and I'm not hungry at all. If this keeps me full for at least 4 hours I will probably never try another protein shake ever again other than this.
I really like these protein shakes. They are in single serving plastic pouches that you can add the water directly to and shake up after capping with the reliably leak proof caps. The milk tea flavor is authentic and the added crunch of the little balls inside is quite satisfying. I added the recommended amount of water which was about 2/3 of a cup and shake them vigorously to make sure things are mixed well. With 20 grams of protein these work well as a meal replacement which is by design. They are mildly sweet and only have a slight aftertaste which I found perfectly acceptable.
I've been trying different protein shakes for quick breakfasts, and this Korean brand caught my attention because of the crunchy protein balls mixed in. It's definitely different from your typical protein shake, and whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.The texture is what sets this apart. Instead of just a smooth shake, you get these little crunchy cereal-like balls throughout that add a fun element. Some people love it, some hate it. If you're texture-sensitive or prefer completely smooth shakes, this might bother you. For me, it makes drinking it feel more like eating something, which somehow makes it more satisfying.I tried the milk tea flavor and it's pleasant enough. Not super strong on the tea flavor, more of a subtle sweetness. The chocolate flavor seems to be the favorite based on what others say. There's a slight stevia aftertaste, which is noticeable but not overwhelming like some protein powders. It mixes reasonably well with water, though you'll get some clumps if you don't shake it vigorously. With milk it's definitely better. The 20g of protein per serving is decent, and it does keep me full for a few hours. Low sugar too, which is nice if you're watching carbs. The single-serve packets are super convenient for grab-and-go mornings or keeping at your desk. Here's my main issue though... the price. At $36.50 for seven servings, that's over $5 per shake. That's expensive compared to most protein powders, even other single-serve options. You're paying a premium for the convenience and the unique crunchy texture, but it adds up fast if you're using this regularly.Would I buy this again? Maybe as an occasional treat or to keep a few packets around for variety, but not as my daily protein shake. The crunchy bits are fun and the convenience is real, but I can't justify spending this much when there are solid alternatives at half the price. If you're curious about the texture thing and don't mind the cost, grab a 7-pack to try. Just don't expect it to become your budget-friendly protein solution.
The Flimeal Milk Tea Protein Shake surprised me with how good it tastes for a protein drink. Each packet mixes easily in water or milk without clumping, and the flavor is very close to actual milk tea, smooth, slightly sweet, and not artificial. I really liked the addition of the crunchy protein balls; they make the texture fun and more like a treat than a shake. Each serving has 20g of protein and is low in sugar, which works perfectly for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. The 7 individual packs are convenient for travel or work, and they’re portioned just right at 1.59 oz each. It’s filling enough to hold me over for a few hours without feeling heavy. If you like milk tea and want an easy keto-friendly protein option, Flimeal did a great job with this one.
