I’d say it’s one of the BEST protein shakes I’ve ever so far. I love that they have a variety of tastes and a huge pool of options. However nothing beats the convenience of it. This was literally what won me over. As someone who has a packed schedule, it has always been a struggle to carry around my protein powder so I would resort to plastic bags which some how ends up looking nasty after a 12 hour shift.. This protein shake completely solved that issue. The one down side is the price but I’ll take it as the packaging price which makes it more than worth. Def would repurchase!
I love the taste of this; it tastes exactly like milk tea. I made mine using milk instead of water so I would have a creamier consistency. It mixes okay; however, it doesn't seem to mix fully and has a slight gritty texture to it. I personally don't mind it too much. I also don't know if I got this texture from using milk instead of water too. I just used a shaker bottle for it too, since I don't have a blender.Overall, it tastes yummy and has a nice 20g of protein. I like that it's not completely loaded with sugar but has a nice amount to make it taste a little sweet. I love the little crunchies in it, but be warned if you leave it too long, they can become more soggy than crunchy. I think this is a nice value and has a great flavor.
I tried the "Flimeal Milk Tea" flavor and actually liked it a lot. There's a subtle tea flavor, but otherwise it's milky with chunks in it like if you were to drink a bowl of cereal. The packages themselves are really easy to carry like for a work snack or on a hike, and then you just add water and boom you have a low calorie, high protein meal replacement. Use a translator app to read the nutritional info!At time of review it was $35+ for 7 servings which isn't bad value, but definitely more than just buying protein powder or an alternative meal replacement..this adds some fun variety though!
This protein shake is a nice blend of flavour and nutrition. The milk tea taste is smooth and authentic, not overly sweet or chalky like some other protein powders. It truly tastes like a real milk tea drink but with the added bonus of 20g of protein per serving. The crunchy protein balls are a fun touch. They give the shake a little texture and make it feel like a treat instead of a typical protein drink. I also like that it is low in sugar and keto-friendly, so it fits right into my healthy eating goals. It mixes well with both water and milk (I prefer unsweetened almond milk for extra creaminess), and it keeps me full for hours. It makes it great as a meal replacement or post-workout shake. The 14 servings size makes it a good value, especially compared to getting milk teas from the store. The container keeps it fresh between uses and the included scoop is convenient. Worthy trying if you like milk tea and want a protein boost.
My son loves this! He works out a lot and has tried many protein mixes and he was actually excited about the taste of this and that it’s nutritionally sound. Based on his opinion, I highly recommend this because I trust my sons’s opinions. He’s going to be a surgeon someday so he reads a lot about nutrition and he’s serious about working out and being healthy. It’s good value for the money if you compare it to other products of this caliber. The sugar content is reasonable. It’s got high quality ingredients. If you like matcha like we do, then you’ll love this, too.
This protein shake is easy to drink on the go and makes getting quick protein really convenient. The quality is good, and it keeps me full for a while, which helps with appetite control. The matcha flavor is nice but not very strong, so if you’re expecting a bold matcha taste you might be a little let down. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but overall it feels like a healthy option with solid nutrition and good taste.
This FLIMEAL Green Tea Matcha Protein Shake is a Korean drink mix. It IS sweet but just barely, looking at the ingredients list I see erythritol, maltodextrin, enzyme-treated stevia, and sugarcane in the ingredients list. The serving size for this is 3 tablespoons. There are no directions how to mix it on the bottle, I assume this is meant to be mixed with water most likely, but it seems like it would be too thin, so I opted for mixing this with 6 oz. of milk, and it made for a creamy sort of "matcha latte" drink. There are little dark balls in this, they have the texture of a crispy cereal. I think the dark brown look of them is where the "chocolate" on the ingredients list comes it. You cannot really tell they are chocolate, but I almost taste a hint of in there almost like a cocoa cereal ball. These balls are crispy at first, but get soggy like cereal does if you leave them too long in the drink before consuming them. They are few and far between but a fun little crunch to the drink. This powdered drink comes with a scoop in it, but the scoop seems very imprecise to me, I opted instead to use a tablespoon measure, leveled off. I actually thought with the milk the drink was best and refreshing with only 1 tablespoon added to the 6 oz. It got progressively sweeter and heavier with additional tablespoons whisked in. The powder didn't want to say mixed into the milk, I had to keep whisking it back up every so often. I ended liking this in the lower amount added to milk, but the full amount I thought was too much, and I don't believe I would like this just mixed into water.
This filmeal tastes amazing. I'm honestly poised to make it my new favorite protein shake. The nutrition label is in Korean so you can't read the serving instructions, but the ad says add about 6oz of fluid to 3 scoops of filmeal. That's what I did, and used oatmilk in a blender bottle to mix it together. The green tea tastes like a boba drink. The little cereal bits are quite nice too, and provide a nice crunch, similar to Rice Krispies. I felt great knowing I had maximum taste with minimal guilt. The values are comparable to rivaling protein powders, and as an added bonus, this shake is high in fiber.I really enjoy this powder, and will probably be done with this case before I know it.
The addition of crunchy protein crisps add an interesting texture to the shake. They create a satisfying crunch that enhances the overall drinking experience and makes it feel more like a complete meal rather than just a beverage. I was able to mix it easily with no gritty, residue or lumps left behind. The protein crisps remained crunchy after I prepared the shake. With 20g of protein and low sugar content, this protein shake is an excellent option for those looking to maintain or build lean muscle while adhering to a keto diet.Offering 14 servings in a single container, this protein shake represents good value for those seeking a quality meal replacement option. When compared to other options, it’s competitively priced, especially given its unique flavor profile and nutritional benefits. What’s more, it can be incorporated into smoothies, oatmeal, or baked goods for an extra protein boost. This versatility allows for a creative meal prep while maintaining dietary goals. Overall, this protein shake has been a nutritious option for my daily routine. I RECOMMEND.
My husband loves green tea and he drinks shakes for breakfast much of the time, so I got this for him to use at work. He tried the shakes two ways - once with sparkling water added (the directions say use water or carbonated water) and then once with almond milk instead. Far and above, it was way better with the almond milk. It truly made a world of difference. With the almond milk, it tasted very delicious and was more like a treat vs a meal replacement shake (which is always a huge bonus). When made with water, it was okay, but not nearly as good. I would go as far as to say that with water, it really is more of a 3 star shake, but with the almond milk it was 5 stars. I'm sure it would work just as well with oat milk or regular milk as well, but with water it was a little lackluster. Just a tip for those who try it with water and aren't impressed. The crunchy little balls add a bit of texture and extra deliciousness too! Overall I'm pretty impressed with this shake mix and we will definitely be purchasing it again!
The ingredients are listed on the bag which holds the 6 pouches. Everything else is Korean. There is no instructions, but I thinks it's pretty straightforward. The back of the pouch has a clear space on top, with levels marked. So I filled with water till the first mark, then shake. Once shaked it need it to fill again to reach the first mark. I tasted it, it was too strong Macha flavor for me. So I filled up till 2nd mark, and the taste was perfect for me.Doesn't need a vigorous shake, it dissolves fast and without lumps. Have something crunchy in it.It does list some fruits , like pineapple - I do not taste the fruits at all.
I’ve never seen or heard of this product but I’m sooo glad I tried it…because it’s sooo delicious. It tastes like a matcha latte with little bits of crisp in it. There is no English directions but based off the Amazon description and pictures they said to use water or milk and fill to the first line. I’ve tried with both water and almond milk and I’m glad to report that it dissolves really well and that I drink this to replace my breakfast in the morning when I’m in a rush. I’m interested in trying their other flavors.. particularly their milk tea shake!! Also according to their website, these are sold in Olive Young stores in Korea which is a reputable store (similar to Sephora in the US).
This Korean protein shake tastes better than I thought it would. It has a mild matcha flavor but I really wish it was stronger. The packets are pre-portioned out with make them very convenient to on the go. You just add water. Theres a clear section on the bag where you can see how much water to pour in for "thick" or "light" consistency. I've only tried the thick consistency since that works well for me. It has a mild chalky texture. I do like the crunchy bits but it doesn't come with many of those. It dissolves easily and a few shakes. The back is all I Korean so glad amazon included an English translation in the product description.
A product of Korea this Dolce Latte flavored protein shake includes 14 servings in the 22.22 ounce tub. The powder contains crunchy bits to provide an interesting texture from the usual smooth drink. Not gluten-free or vegan-friendly the protein is derived from milk and soy—and wheat is listed in the ingredients. Within the context of a protein drink the flavor is better than expected with a definite coffee and milk flavor. Also unlike many protein drinks it is only lightly sweet. Sugar is found in some of the components of the mix and stevia is among the items on the ingredient list.No directions were provided, at least in English, but on the nutritional breakdown three tablespoons was noted to be a serving and I added 8 ounces of water. This seemed to be the correct proportion for taste although the shake does not thicken. A serving has 150 calories, 2.5 grams fat (2 grams saturated), 20 grams carbohydrate, 4 grams fiber, 4 grams sugar (none added) and 20 grams protein. Cholesterol is 7 percent of DV (daily value) and sodium is 10 percent. If possessing tree nut allergies almonds and coconut are also included in the mix—and the long ingredient list is certainly worth reading. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in April 2025 the Use by date is December 2026.
These Dolce Latte pouches are easy to prepare and pretty quick to mix. It has a window on the right side of the back of the pouch. This allowed me to view the mix and determine when it was completely dissolved.I chose to mix it with milk vs water. It did make a chocolaty and creamy beverage. I think since the milk I added was cold, it kept the crunchy pieces crunchy longer than it would have vs using hot water. Mixing directions are not included.I liked the taste overall. I think it is a good quick meal or snack - These contain no caffeine. no sugar and plenty of protein.
